The applet is not freezing right.

Is end you all codes by PM.

etienne_sf

Hi,

Thanks to your PM, I went there today. I come accross a new very very strange problem: your web server returns the response compressed in gzip, when the applet send the header to refuse any encoding ! I'm sure it's the first time it occurs, accrss all

The applet can't understand the server response.

I recommand switching back to the 3.4.0 release (see the forum, I attached this version to the first thread). You can install the 3.4.0 over your current installation, without any problem.

I'll ask you to test on your system the next release, when I'll be done with this one. Ok for you ?

It doesn't work either with 3.4.0...

It used to work, with an older verison of coppermine, but I can't downgrade for security reasons...

3.4.0 debug output attached.

etienne_sf

Ok,

  I'll correct that ...

I'll try to repeat, then correct the problem on my Linux box. Then, I would need to confirm on your computer. Would it be possible ?

Etienne

Woshee

yep, no problem, I'll try to help you as much as I can.

etienne_sf

Hum, hum,

  Standard upload doesn't work better.

Jupload works with a very small file (2k).

I guess you have a server problem. Disk full ? Some kind of quota ?

Etienne

Woshee

I don't understand... 88% of the storage is free.

I used to transfer hundreds of images with jupload...

I tried a vanilla 1.4.24 coppermine with jupload 1.4.0, i couldn't upload images...

I didn't realize I can't upload any photo, even with the normal upload... its just confusing.

Woshee

Ok, since it seems not to be related to jupload, I started a new topic:
http://forum.coppermine-gallery.net/index.php/topic,60157.0.html

Sorry, I think I wasted your time...

Woshee

Solved!

It was a coppermine known bug. A little file to edit and it works well with the 3.5.3 cr6 which was installed.

etienne_sf

Ok !
:P

So ... can you mark this thread as solved ?

Hi,

i have the same problem tryed 3.4.0 same problem. Then i learned that only pictures with a size bigger than 4MB would cause the problem, i could upload pictures with 3.8 or 3.9 MB even with 3.5.1. But if the picture size is greater than 4MB something causes the Warning (without content) message box to appear.
But to give any further help i could not find the logs. Do i have to switch them on somehow? where can i find them?

Sincerely sk8connection

Hi all,
i found the solution: upgraded Jupload to the 3.6.0, and i had to change some PHP settings on the providers control center. I had to switch ON macgic_quote_gpc, and i had to switch OFF output_buffering in the PHP setting. Hope this can help, because since i changed this, Jupload works just fine.

Noted: I'll try that !

Hi,

I tested various values for magic_quote_gpc, and  output_buffering.

I did not repeat any problem, on:
- Linux (fedora, recent one)
- Apache 2.2.11
- PHP 5.2.9

Can you give me more info ? (phpinfo by PM would be nice)

Etienne

etienne_sf

Hum,

I can't find any problem on my Linux, after playing around a lot of parameters.

I give up, until someone can give me a precise description, so that I can repeat the problem.

Regards
Etienne
