I have the following issue when trying to bridge coppermine and phpBB3:
When changing line 57 of udb_base.inc.php acording to http://forum.coppermine-gallery.net/index.php/topic,59178.msg291781.html#msg291781
and using http://forum.coppermine-gallery.net/index.php?action=dlattach;topic=59178.0;attach=20536 (renamed to phpbb3.inc.php ) i get the following error:
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected $end in /hsphere/local/home/kungpeking/kameran.nu/bridge/phpbb3.inc.php on line 323

When using the original phpbb3.inc.php from http://forum.coppermine-gallery.net/index.php?action=dlattach;topic=53678.0;attach=13362 and still having
line 57 of udb_base.inc.php I get this error instead:
Fatal error :

Coppermine install: http://kameran.nu
Forum install: http://kameran.nu/forum
Coppermine version: cpg1.4.21
Forum version: phpBB3.0.5
Test user account: TestUser / TestUser

BridgeManager settings:
Forum URL:  http://kameran.nu/forum
Relative path to your BBS's config file:  forum/
Use post-based groups?:  1
Cookie name/preifx phpbb3_cpqtr

My prblem is that I want Multi-group functions, that I'm used to in UnBridged Coppermine.
I have owerlapping groups, "Friends" and "Kenpo", most users in Friends don't need to see Kenpo pictures and most Kenpo users don't need too see Friends pictures
but some of my Friends is training Kenpo and need to see both...

Don't refer to attachments, but threads that contain the attachment!

Upgrade! We're not ready to discuss issues that may or may not be caused by you using outdated versions. There's a reason why we release new versions. Running outdated versions is not an option!

So, it should be working on the version I'm using (1.4.21)!

KungenAvPeking

debug_mode on the "Fatal error" gives:

Quote
While executing query "SELECT u.user_id AS id, u.username AS username, u.user_password AS password, ug.group_id+100 AS group_id FROM `KungPek_test`.phpbb_users AS u, `KungPek_test`.phpbb_user_group AS ug WHERE u.user_id=ug.user_id AND u.user_id='2'" on 0

mySQL error: You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near '+100 AS group_id FROM `KungPek_test`.phpbb_users AS u, `KungPek_test`.php' at line 1

Nibbler

Remove the bold around the +100. It's there for emphasis; it's not part of the code.

Thanks Nibbler, that solved the "Fatal Error" problem...
The other problem I HAD, was that I could not get "Multi-Groups" to work, but that problem was solved with the
patch at the end of your tread.
CPG don't SHOW "Multi-groups", only default group is shown, but it is using permissions for all the groups a user is part of.

So, this tread is solved.
