Hi,

I have searched in the forums for this but to no avail and cannot see anything in the FAQ etc for guidance. Hopefully someone can advise if its feasible or not. I run a Camera Club website and have been advocating the use of Coppermine for both our Members Galleries and for our Competition uploads into albums. However one of our members has a real problem with other people being able to see all of the entries prior to the competition closing date via the Album in question. So therefore my question is simple, is it possible to have an album available to Registered Users that can be uploaded to by them but then cannot be seen by them until I choose to make it "public" so to speak? Even if we could restrict them to thumbnail images would be a start although I am not sure if that is possible either.

Any help greatly appreciated.

Brian

No, that's not possible out of the box: all albums that a user (or rather: a group that the user belongs to) can upload to can be accessed as well by that user (or rather: the group the user is a member of). Maybe there is a mod or plugin around; I think there has been a similar request in the past, but I don't remember out of the back of my head what term to search for.
