I have keyword phrases in IPTC such as "alpha beta" that appear as "alpha and beta" in cpg keywords.  I am unable to edit or delete these keywords.

My search for the problem turned up this thread:
http://forum.coppermine-gallery.net/index.php/topic,16912.0.html

but this thread indicates that the problem is fixed.  I have 1.4.25, but I am still having the problem.

What is missing?  Did the code fix posted to the thread ever get into the cpg install?

Thanks,
Joe.

Here is a link to a search page for a cpg database with only a few images:

http://www.joeaustinphotography.com/cpg1420/search.php

The keywords with quotes are evident in the first line of keywords.  I cannot delete or edit these.

The thread I quoted above has a code correction, but since it is 4 years old I am hesitant to apply it , especially since it sounds like a fix might have been incorporated into the base code long ago.

One of the images has the keyword phrase "North American" in the IPTC keywords.  In the cpg gallery this is extracted to "North and American".  If I got to the search page and select the "North keyword no images will be returned.  If I select the American" keyword then the image will be returned.

I still cannot modify or delete these keywords in cpg.

Does anybody have an update to the old post about this?

I just had a similar problem. To delete, click the keyword in config/key.mgr and put in a blank with the space bar. Hit Change keyword and behold, the word disappears. Do the same with changes, but just retype the word. You may have to regenerate the pop up. Mine stills keeps some words in the pop up after deletion but I'm still working on that.

I tried putting a space into the word and hitting "Change Keyword" but it has no effect.  I can't seem to change or edit any keyword with a ".

I can change non-" keywords with no problem.
