Hi,

To view an album on my site, you first have to scroll down a little to put it in the center of the page which is fine.  When you click the next file link, the whole page starts from the top again, so you have to scroll down a little again.  It makes the viewing of the photo album quite frustrating.

I noticed this is the same on the demo themes as well - (although they are nearer the top so it's not as bad)

Has anyone developed a solution for this or can give me a few pointers to resolve?

thanks,

Joe Carver

Maybe this thread about displayimage.php can help you but it is in German (I don't know if there is something similar in an English part):

Are you saying the header is too big taking a lot of screen at the top? If so, that is how a browser works.
It is a mistake to think you can solve any major problems just with potatoes.

I actually thought (but still aren't sure) this question related to an individuals screen size and how the browser renders the page based upon user preferences. I have a 15" monitor downstairs and yes, I need to scroll down a bit to center the display. This however isn't an issue on my upstairs 25" monitor.

I suppose it also has to do with what type of theme is used and the size of a header banner, if applicable.

The German thread is translated to English here.

If you use that you need to be careful. Google translate messes up the PHP code posted.
