I recently installed coppermine, and was pleased with it! It is for indie game developers to share resources and it will be a great tool in the future, unfortunately uploading does not work.

Here is the site:

and the test account information:
Name:test
Password:test

Coppermine said I should copy this:

You need to wait a bit longer for a reply, this is not a hotline and questions are very rarely answered in the 45mins you gave it before bumping your thread.

Also, Coppermine does not say post the debug output unless asked.

Looking at your error " Unable to create thumbnail or reduced size image " and using the search facility brings up many answers.

Try looking at the following threads.

It is a mistake to think you can solve any major problems just with potatoes.

I tried all that, it still won't work  :-\.

Oh shoot! I just realized I wasn't uploading a jpeg thanks. Is there some way I can upload PNG's? You see the most commonly used sprite styles for indie game developers is PNS's...

Joachim Müller

Sure, you can upload PNG. Coppermine supports PNG out of the box. If have no idea what a PNS is, but in theory you can upload any file, you just need to "tell" Coppermine what to do with the file. Take a look at Plugin: Filetype editor.
Anyway, we have a strict "one question per thread" policy that you agreed to respect when signing up. As your initail issue appears to be solved I'm marking this thread accordingly.

poepoe

Oh sorry for that, thank you for all the help.
