I run Coppermine version: 1.4.25(stable), 1.5.x is no where to be downloaded
The demo found at http://coppermine-gallery.net/demo/cpg14x/ecard.php?album=18&pid=67&pos=0
give the notice "Only images can be sent as an ecard."
I was unable to find any plugins to make it happen.

So from my point of view, locking of this topic is invalid !
Please mr Müller, enlighten us.

Yes it is but as it is in the ALPHA it is not meant for live sites nor anyone who does not know what they are doing

It will give that error as it was designed to do that, the message tells you that.

No need for sarcasm and no need to argue. Joachim chose to lock the thread for a reason which he stated in his reply and I am guessing, because you hijacked someone elses thread. If you want support, please obey the board rules and be polite.

Not a forum, but just a single thread got locked because you hijacked it. It's not up to you to decide if that is justified or not. I'm not going to discuss support policies with you.

1.5.x is no where to be downloaded

You can get it using the SVN checkout, but we won't explain that, because cpg1.5.x goes unsupported. Use the search, it's not a secret how to obtain a copy of cpg1.5.x, but don't ask here.

As suggested in the other thread you tried to hijack, sending flash files by email is silly and none of the devs will therefor look into this. You need it -> you code it. If you just need to send an email that contains a link to a web page where the actual multimedia content hides, you don't need any specific code or features or anything else - you just copy'n paste the URL from the address bar of your browser into your email.
We're not fond of even more emails being sent around needlessly.

Given your attitude I'm not ready to discuss this with you any more. Yours smells like a troll posting anyway.
