Mini CMS problem with end of page...

[LeighJW]

First of all. I am very new to this so please try to give jargonless answers :-)  I am not a web developer..... just someone trying to maintain a basic camera club website...

I am using CPG 1.4.10 with MiniCMS 1.6 but I have an ongoing problem with MiniCMS. When I put long(ish) tables on a page and click 'sumbit', on numerous occasions the bottom of the resulting page is corrupted with odd fonts and font sizes and the table is often truncated.

Here is the latest example: http://www.gwynfa.org.uk/index.php?file=minicms/cms&id=118

Is there a fix?

Am  using the latest version of MiniCMS (I cannot access thir website!) ?

Is there a better and more comprehensive CMS I can use?

HELP!!!!

Regards,
Leigh

I am using CPG 1.4.10

The first and foremost thing you need to do is upgrade. Your gallery is vulnerable.
(note: support is generally only given to users running the latest Coppermine release)

All of the information that you need is in the documents. Please upgrade, then return.

I didn't know this wasn't the latest version... and I have no clue as to how I would upgrade, sorry. I am a beginner thrust in at the deep end..

Will this solve my CMS problem too?

[Joe Carver]

... and I have no clue as to how I would upgrade

You will best serve yourself by reading the documents and following the instructions.
http://coppermine-gallery.net/demo/cpg14x/docs/index.htm#upgrade
(that is also another support requirement.....)

Downloads are located at the top of the page that you are now looking at.
http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=89658

Please do some reading and if you can't find your answer then try searching this forum before posting.

Sadly is all falls at the first instruction.

Not one line of the instructions means anything to me. It is written for people who ar web designers. I am not.

For example:
First, make a backup (dump) of your database. HOW?
Backup your include/config.inc.php file, your anycontent.php file and your "albums" directory. HOW?

Is there someone who we can PAY to make these changes for us?

[Jeff Bailey]

If you want to pay someone to do this for you post in here: http://coppermine-gallery.com/forum/index.php/board,30.0.html
Make sure you read all the sticky topics.
