Hello,
I try to install cpmfetch by following instructions on their website but I don't know how to "updates the cpmfetch_config.php file with your settings". I mean, I don't know what to write in this file. Can you just give an example please ? I use Coppermine, GD2.
Thanks

Jeff Bailey

QuoteIt will also update the "cpmfetch_config.php" file in your cpmfetch folder.
is on the same page in the docs that you quoted. It looks like you shouldn't have to do anything as the installer does it for you, but I am not sure as I don't use it. Try completing the install to see what happens. ;D If I am missing something please reply. If it works please resolve your thread and post that it worked.  ;)

But I don't understand why I can see in the test some random images from my gallery  :-\

Jeff Bailey

When you say test... I'm assuming you mean when the install finishes?
QuoteWhen it finishes it will show you some photos from your gallery to prove it is working. It will also show you the exact PHP code it used to get them. This code is the same code (almost) that you will be inserting into your own pages.
If you mean test as in ... you posted some code into a page that is not a part of coppermine to test if it worked and you are seeing random images, then you should continue to read the docs as it will explain the different types of images you can pull from your gallery and how to post them on a page with different calls in the php code.

The installation will show 4 random images when it successfully runs.

melab,
Login and double check what you have entered for your gallery URL as follows......

Config/General Settings/URL of your coppermine gallery folder

It looks like you have it set to: http://coppermine.sourceforge.net/

It should be something like: http://twilight-and-us.fr/coppermine/  (with trailing slash!)

Fix that and then re-run the installation.
