Want to update all registered users upon new pix arrivals

hi,
i am using copperine gallery for several years (installed version 1.4.25 (stable)). i've always wondered how to update all my registered users, when i uploaded some new pictures in my gallery. i read about the BRIDING-OPTIOn to some other apps, but i am totally confused which app to use.

i just want to.
+ update all registerd users on new pic arrival
+ by simple email or
+ by posting to some newsgroups. if this option is choosen, then i have to constantly update my blog users with my registered-coppermine users.

how can i do that?

please help. i want to improve my overall handling to my CLOSED friend group. there should be no strangers (without registration) in my coppermine gallery.
