I looked for Javascript reflection effects but found none under a GPL license, so I decided to write one myself. This plugin generates a mirror-like reflection on displayimage.php just below the image. The effect is client-sided, so there's no additional server load. The effect is tested and works fine with IE>=6, Firefox >=1.5, Opera, Chrome, Safari. It's only 2,2 KByte of Javascript that is added to the page.

Mirror will only work if 'Insert a transparent overlay to minimize image theft' is deactivated. Feel free to adapt the size and opacity of the reflection by editing mirror.js to your needs. This plugin and the plugin 'image_manipulate' may not be used at the same time.

The little reflection at the bottom of the pic Andre. Quite nice really. I would like to see some of the other js effects howerve. I reckon a mouseover zoom box (loupe) would be usefull
It is a mistake to think you can solve any major problems just with potatoes.

When using the Mirror v1.3 Plugin, and displaying a slideshow, the mirror effect doesn't get updated with the pictures changing. I think, because the mirror effect gets calculated onload, but the slideshow does not refresh the entire site.

Hey guys, I couldn't get this plugin to work after installing it. I like the mirror effect. Is this plugin working for anyone else?

Maybe this plugin interferes with another plugin. Which other plugins do you use?
