Hello,

I have sucessfully set up a bridge between phpbb3 and coppermine gallery. I have the gallery set to import my phpbb groups. In the catagory section, under user galleries, I have it set so all groups may create a album in this catagory. In the groups section, I have allowed all groups to post images and have personal galleries. However, when a non-admin user logs in, they may see their own personal gallery, but there is no option to upload pictures or create a album. Any ideas?

*Note, I am on the weary side of creating a test account, however if needed, I will PM it to you.

You don't have the luxury of either of those options you mention. Instead:

This is how your posting should look (with actual URLs instead of the dummy URLs given here as an example):

I have the following issue when trying to bridge coppermine and XXX:

I have the following issue when trying to bridge coppermine and PHPBB3.

I have bridged phpbb3 with coopermine. Users are able to login to the coopermine successfully. However, in the group configuration menu, I have allowed all groups to post publicly, and to create personal galleries. However, when a non-administrator logs in, there is no option to create an album, especially to create one in their user gallery. There is no way for any user to upload any pictures to their personal gallery. I am using the normal theme, with two plug ins installed. The view online users, and the youtube one, however this problem presented with a fresh install.

Coppermine install: https://sc1234freakclan.com/pictures/
Forum install: https://sc1234freakclan.com/forums/
Coppermine version: cpg1.5.3 (RC)
Forum version: PhpBB v3.0.7-PL1 (Latest)
Test user account: Test/Test1234!

BridgeManager settings:
Forum URL:  https://sc1234freakclan.com/forums/
Relative path to your BBS's config file:  ../forums/
Use post-based groups?: Yes

Sorry for earlier, was reluctant to post any info about my website. If anyone could offer help, that would be great, thanks.

I just noticed when you remove an account from phpbb's standard group registered users, as with the test account. That a new button named "My Profile" appears. The test account is able to create a album, but not normal users that are in the registered group. Please note that removing every phpbb user from the "registered" group is not a solution.

Please reply if you want a test account that is, or isn't in the registrated group.

More info to add...

Even when the "Test" group in the group settings page, when private galleries is set to NO. The test account is able to create a user gallery with the setting set to NO.
So i tried setting all groups to NO, no effect, so they have been set back to their correct values.

I created an album and uploaded my avatar.

I don't see any problems, unless I'm missing your point.

Lmao, I got locked out of my gallery. So I disabled bridge manager, and re-enabled it. For whatever reason, my accounts are now able to CREATE PERSONAL GALLERIES. It must have been some fluke database error.

Sorry for the confusion and thanks for the timely support,

Sc1234freak.
