Hi Etienne,

i have the following, not serious, but very disturbing problem on Jupload
i use coppermine 1.5.4 (but having the same problem with 1.5.3) and Jupload 4.1.0rc2 (recently, with 4.0.1 too):
as i upload a file with jupload, i got the property editor window:
see:
http://www.balatonparty.com/displayimage.php?album=72&pid=4614#top_display_media
the window looks strange. too wide...

and as i upload and applied the properties for my pictures (i'm administrator) i have to go to approve my uploads: and now the property editor looks file:
http://www.balatonparty.com/displayimage.php?album=72&pid=4615#top_display_media

my site:
http://www.balatonparty.com
testuser: test/test

what can be wrong?

thanks for your help

You have failed to say that you have another open thread related to your upload issues that potential supporters might want to take a look at: http://forum.coppermine-gallery.net/index.php/topic,65289.0.html

they are independent problems :(
before installing 1.5.4  i had problems only with jupload...

i can imagine, that while trying to solve the problem of jupload with upgrading to 4.1.0rc2 of jupload, i made multiple upload wrong. tonight i can check it.

If regular http uploads don't work as expected, then JUpload can't work neither, so I'm pretty sure that those issues are related. Anyway, the note I posted was aimed at supporters who might or might not share my opinion. The note was not directly aimed at you.

strange. as i uninstalled jupload, the multiple file upload works. i can not understand it.
in 1.5.3 worked multiple file upload correctly, jupload with the problem mentioned above. but they really uploaded files...

Hi,

  Sorry, I missed this message.

JUpload doesn't change the core Coppermine code. So it should not interfer with core behavior.

  I'll test that...

But I'm fighting with next release of the applet itself. Hope I'll make it out soon. Then, I'll be back on Coppermine.

hi Etienne

i've fed up the trying with the actual (out of date) version of jupload, as i've seen you are working on a new build (tested the 4.1.0rc2)
i decided to be patient and will wait till the release the new version for coppermine 1.5.6 :)

cheers, thanks for your work!

Hi,

Please check the last release, 4.1.0. It should work much better !

Thanks for the info
it works now great!

but:

can it happened, that an upload of a simple user with jupload shouldn't have been approved by admin? or some settings is wrong for me?

Hi,

After upload, whenever approval is needed, the user can access to the edit file properties (the jupload one).

But the pictures should be visible to others, only after that the admin actually approved these pictures.

Here is the log message:

Jul 01, 2010 at 08:16 AM - While executing query 'INSERT INTO cpg140_pictures (aid, filepath, filename, filesize, total_filesize, pwidth, pheight, ctime, owner_id, title, caption, keywords, approved, user1, user2, user3, user4, pic_raw_ip, pic_hdr_ip, position, guest_token) VALUES ('121', 'userpics/10001/', 'JT5T6739.jpg', '111108', '163026', '1024', '683', '1277968560', '1','JT5T6739', '', '', 'YES', '', '', '', '', '', '', '0', '')' in include/picmgmt.inc.php on line 165 the following error was encountered:
Unknown column 'guest_token' in 'field list'

etienne_sf

This error is very strange:

Your request is executed against a cpg1.4 table, with a cpg1.5 code. So the 'guest_token' column is missing.

The error is not in JUpload code, but in cpg 1.5 code.

Questions:
- Do standard upload work ?
- Do you have anything special with your installation ?
