Hey guys, I have a question.  CPG version is 1.5.6, URL is http://ccdataonline.selfip.net/coppermine.  When checking the "Password Protect this album" under Album Properties nothing happens.  I can check it and save the changes and it tells me "No Update needed" .   I'm assuming 1.5.6 is a stable version because I can't find anywhere that it says it's alpha or beta.  If not then please let me know and I'll uninstall and reinstall the later version.

Thanks,

That worked.  Thank you.  I have a question now relating to this that I know I saw earlier but cannot find again.  Now that the album is password protected, if I'm not logged in, the user cannot see the album.  I have checked the box under Config->File Settings-> Show private album icon to unlogged user  but this had no effect.  Am I missing something?

Thanks

I have a similar problem, but with 1.5.9.
I can see the password field, but i´m also getting "No Update needed" when i hit submit.

Also, the album doesn´t get password protected.

I´m only testing this offline, no live site/link, sorry.
