I was trying to update my thumbs but whenever I do that it says error beside the files names and causes them to stop loading, I have updated the gallery i think to the latest version and i have also moved the folders over from the new release so all of the stuff should work except refreshing the pictures

It looks like you need to upgrade first as you are running <!--Coppermine Photo Gallery 1.4.19 (stable)--> while the current version is 1.4.27 (or 1.5.6 if you wish to make the jump). Please upgrade then report back if you have the same problem.
It is a mistake to think you can solve any major problems just with potatoes.

i downloaded the folder, unzipped it and replaced all the files and folders but it still doesnt show it was updated. and i did run update.php and that didnt change the current version either so what is it im missing?

The files are not changed so there must be something wrong with the way you are uploading the files. Take a look here at your docs file for example - http://miss-perez.net/photos/docs/

That is clearly the file from 1.4.19. Had you uploaded the latest version that file would have been overwritten and replace with one that says 1.4.27 at the top. So give it another go and use a decent ftp ap such as filezilla - http://filezilla-project.org/
