new user but only certain functions

Hi im having someone help me with my sites gallery but all i want him to be able to do is be able to create albums, modify them, pretty much everything but i dont want them to be able to go under the config menu where they can screw around with the options so is there a way to do that?

There are no moderator capabilities in cpg1.4.x, so you can't accomplish that in cpg1.4.x, but you could accomplish a similar thing in cpg1.5.x. Consider an upgrade.
