in Admin the menu is vertical not horizontal

I just did a fresh install of Coppermine. The gallery is fine, I can add new albums, upload photos etc. It's just that in admin the menu is vertical instead of horizontal.

PHP Version 5.2.13
MySQL5.0
Coppermine 1.5.6 (stable)

I'm sure it is a configuration issue but I am unable to see the solution. Searching the forum did not bring up any help

Works for me as expected in my testbed. Use the cpg1.5.x version of that theme. Moving to themes board, as this is definitely no install issue.

Sorry for posting in wrong board. When I tried the default themes it was the same result but I will look at the 1.5 version of Rainy day.

The default rainy_day theme comes with the Coppermine package. It works as expected in my testbed. You are not using that version, but a version designed for cpg1.4.x:

Same problem here.
I've switched between the older and the new 1.5 and nothing. I still keep seeing that vertical menu.

Use the cpg1.5.x version of that theme.

You are not using that version, but a version designed for cpg1.4.x:

Don't forget to clear your cache after you updated the theme files!
