Hi
Sorry for the title, I know it doesn't help, but that's how I feel after 4 hours of troubleshooting.
I really hope you can help me because I don't know what to do next.

intro: Recently I found a nasty problem with coppermine and imagemagick on my system.
Imagemagick was (is) not able to create files smaller than 60K (more or less).
I've than posted a query on the Imagemagick support forum, please have a look:
http://studio.imagemagick.org/magick/viewtopic.php?t=2016

Now, running imagemagick from the command line with the -strip option it works! Fine. This is what I'm looking for.
So the problem was "only" the EXIF header which can be removed with this -strip parameter.
Again: using the command line it works!

Now I've entered the coppermine config page,
and added -strip after the default -antialias.

Conclusion: It still create images (even the smallest thumbnail) of 61315 byte  >:(

This affects my old Coppermine 1.2.1 installation and the new Coppermine 1.3beta4 (different directory and different database)

I've already upgraded Imagemagick to the latest version

I've tried to remove the -antialias option

I've tried to disable the "Read EXIF data in JPEG files" option

Result: Nothing of nothing. Even the smallest thumbnail (when I do a batch add files) is big 61315 bytes.

Please help if you can

Thanks  ???

Just a shot in the dark, are the pics you are uploading all gif files?
It has been a long time now since I did my little bit here, and have done no coding or any other such stuff since. I'm back to being a noob here
