Hey Coppermine Community!

I needed a gallery for my site and yours suit all my needs  :) (Nice job dev  ;) )

I upload it to my server folowing the directory structure. I didn't got any problems.

Now when i get to my site: http://aa-tactics.frostyhost.com It gives me this error:

Warning: main(include/config.inc.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/extreme/public_html/include/init.inc.php on line 135

Fatal error: main(): Failed opening required 'include/config.inc.php' (include_path='.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php') in /home/extreme/public_html/include/init.inc.php on line 135

I search your forums and i found a topic from an user that had the same error. Your response was "CHMOD the "Albums" and "include" folders to 777.

When i go to the folder's permission they were already in 777 (in my site) so i didnt made any changes. Now do i need to CHMOD the files IN that folders? I use the cPanel X File Manager to see the folders permissions.

Thank's for your time and i hope you can help me!

Have a nice day!  :)

read the docs that come with coppermine. Don't trust what some app like cpanel or your ftp client tell you what the permission status of the folder is - just CHMOD as suggested (it won't hurt to CHMOD several times). On some servers (depending on your server config) you may need to CHMOD to 777, on others to 755.

it looks to me you have not actually installed the app yet.  After youput the files up, you should browse to http://aa-tactics.frostyhost.com/install.php and fill in the required info.
Then you should be able to usecoppermine.
It has been a long time now since I did my little bit here, and have done no coding or any other such stuff since. I'm back to being a noob here

Now you scare me...

My site: http://aa-tactics.frostyhost.com is the main site URL. Not where i want the Coppermine to be. That is my PHP-Nuke site. I would like it to be in: http://aa-tactics.frostyhost.com/gallery   I only want to add the gallery in my site (with a module link)!!!

I put the Coppermine files in the PHP-Nuke root!

i did go to the link: http://aa-tactics.frostyhost.com/install.php  and it's all ok but i still didnt start the installation. I Want first to have sure that will not overwrite my site (i did a full backup before uploading Coppermine files so im not very worry).

So it's not a problem if i install Coppermine. If i mess everything up well i will need to Restore the full Backup? What i need to do to make the coppermine gallery be in http://aa-tactics.frostyhost.com/gallery

Upload all the files from the zip into /gallery and then run install.

http://aa-tactics.frostyhost.com/gallery/ shows error 404, you haven't uploaded yet.
Additionally, you posted on the wrong board. Only support related stuff for the standalone version of coppermine goes here (as the heading clearly says), you should have posted on another board. What version are you going to install: Cas Nuy's add-on for the standalone version of coppermine (that enables displaying the standalone in an iframe on phpNuke sites) or the fully integrated cpgnuke?
