batch upload - no "okay' button

After browsing the forum, I couldn't find a solution to this. Please excuse if there is a thread and I've missed it.

I've recently installed coppermine 1.5.x on my webspace.
I've then tried to 'batch upload' a few images but there is no 'okay' button to proceed uploading from a selected album.

The album tree before selecting...

I've tried reinstalling and the problem remains.
The strange thing (if that wasn't strange enough) that I've installed the exact same version to another subdomain on the same webspace and didn't have these issues.

Any help is appreciated.

The batch uploader doesn't like parentheses, remove them.
