I have the following issue when trying to bridge coppermine and phpBB forum:
[I tried to bridge these 2 but once returning back to my gallery, my user group for my Creative team has disappeared and thus the users have disappeared. But not completely because when I do a search for them, I can find them, but can not see the username to edit anything. The users whose names have disappeared are not able to upload any files either. Now my Bridge manager is giving me this error so I can not give you the information you need that is listed below. I am sorry. Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING in /xxx/xxx/public_html/gallery/bridgemgr.php on line 1]

Coppermine install: http://www.lauriesscraps.com/gallery/
Bridging app install: not sure
Coppermine version: v1.5.8
Bridging app version: not sure
Test user account: test / test123

I have no idea what to put for this stuff so I will just leave it. I can't get in there to see.

BridgeManager settings:
Bridge app URL:  http://mysite.tld/test/foo_bar
Relative path to your bridge app's config file:  ../bla/
Cookie name or prefix:  forum
Use post-based groups?:  1

seems like the bridgemgr.php is corrupt. re-upload and test again

I am wondering why the user groups have disappeared. My CT user group can ot uplad any photos and it is telling them they do not have permissions. How can I get them back?

The old usergroups are deleted when you bridge and the groups from the forum are imported instead. Recreate the groups in Coppermine that you had before in the same order, or restore the usergroups table from a backup.

Where would the usergroups table be? And what would it be called? Is it a SQL file? If so, I don't think I have it. So i will have to recreate the groups. But then what do I do about the users in that group that still have albums and file that are showing. Their username are not visible, even in the admin list of users. When I do a search for them, they show up, but only in theory. They are not visible and I can not make changes to them. Any suggestions?

You probably have a hosting plan that has something like cPanel. It will also probably include something called phpMyAdmin. That is what you will need to learn and use. If you have no back up then use what data you have for users to do what Nibbler has suggested. Unless you have a recent backup of your db's this will not be solved with a couple of simple clicks.....

You should also take a little time to go over your Coppermine documents about bridging too.

Remember to make backups frequently.

I found a back up that was done and had my hosting company restore certain files. That fixed the problem. Thank you for all your help.
