GIF's arn't animated

For some reason my GIF's aren't animated when I upload them. Is there something I am doing wrong?

It's a family website, so I cant post a link.

The GD library cannot handle animated gif files. If Coppermine needs to resize that file, as it's too big, only the first frame will used for the new picture. The resizing method has been improved since the release of cpg1.5.8. So you can try if the problem still exists if you perform an update with the latest svn tarball.

The image is quite small is width and size. 88x31 button and it seems I was able to upload animated gif's on the older version of cpg but since I upgraded it gets fubared.

I'm not understanding how to do that. I have the latest version of cpg.

If you're too lazy to read the docs, you'll have to wait until the release of cpg1.5.10.

I am not lazy, I just don't understand how to do all of that. I guess I will have to wait then...

Just download the tarball and perform an upgrade with that files as described in the docs.

Well I managed to fix that per the download on that page. I was reading something else on there that was confusing me. I have now fixed this. Thank you!
