Upgraded - now gallery won't load

I upgraded this morning and tried to load the gallery and there is nothing there.
I ran 'update.php" as suggested elsewhere in here. Most everything said "already done" and those that didn't had green "OK" on them.
I tried to check version check but got the following error:  Fatal error: Class 'Inspekt' not found in /home/ballard/public_html/gallery/include/init.inc.php on line 50
Since nothing will load I can't login to do anything

Any suggestions as to what I can do to fix this?

You need to upload the new versions of all the files in the package. The update.php you have there is from 1.4 and the Inspekt error message indicates the same thing - failure to upload the new files completely.

Thanks _ I used Fantastico to upgrade and apparently it didn't do it well.  I'll go look for the package to download and try it the old-fashioned way.

Still having issues here.

I ftp'd the files to the server; ran update.php again; did the version check.
A number of files were old and version check said those need to needed to be deleted so I did those.
Version check also complained about "modified or corrupted files" - in fact, I think it complained about every last file.   
Gallery loaded OK - some things were funky so I went through the folders and found some images missing and got those uploaded.

So, because of the "modified or corrupted files"; I re-uploaded the files, ran version check again and again, am getting the same messages.
I'm not sure what is wrong here.

Everything seems to be working, more or less, and I modified the custom theme so that it now seems to be working so I'm going to assume that the "modified or corrupted" files means nothing.
