I am having problems with the unable to move bug. I am still using the old 1.30 version. But because i dont have much time and because the website cant have downtime, i cant reinstall ( upgrade ) the gallery. Is it possible to replace a few files so that the bug will disappear and the site will keep working?

Also in the docs there is no explanation for upgrading 1.30 to 1.30.

You can replace the upload file with the one from the current package.  And the documentation does give instructions for the beta upgrade -- they are the same for upgrading from 1.2.1.
