XP Publisher only works as Admin

I am very happy with Coppermine, great product but I cannot get XP Publisher to upload anything when logged in as a registered user. It works fine when you are logged in as an Admin but if you log in as any other user it appears to work perfectly but the pictures never appear in the album. I have tried the obvious things such as configs and permissions, also used various different versions of xp_publish.php all without success. Can someone give me a clue how to fix this as it helps a lot for my users to use publish

post a test user account (non-admin) and a link, so someone running Windows XP can check. What answer do you expect without giving any details?
