Hi!

I would like the browser toolbar to display in the fullsize image window.  After some "spelunking" it seemed that all I needed to do was change "toolbar=no" to "toolbar=yes" in displayimage.php.  Unfortunately, that didn't do it.  Can someone tell me where that setting is, or why/how it is being over-ridden?

Thanx!

change "toolbar=no" to "toolbar=yes" in displayimage.php
Works for me as expected. Tested on my local testbed and on your gallery using Firebug and Firefox 4.

Hi Andre',

I tested with Firebug and it worked also.  However, I then made the change in displayimage.php and even though the file saved the change did not "take."  I cleared the cache and reloaded the page, but the option was back to "no."  That is what lead me to believe that it gets set some other way, and prompted my forum question.

I agree that changing the option with Firebug and testing works as expected.  I just don't know where to make the change so it is "permanent.

Thanx!

Hi Andre',

Also, FYI, I changed the code in displayimage.php prior making my post yesterday.  When you tested the site, the source code was set to "toolbar=yes".  That's why I think the code is being generated some other way.

Hello Andre',

As I suspected, making the "toolbar=yes" change in displayimage.php only works "locally" when using Firebug to debug/test.  Even though I changed the source file, the attribute remains "no" when I view the source code in the live gallery.

However, editing "includes/themes.in.php" (4 instances of the "toolbar=no" setting) results in the desired behavior.  The toolbar is displayed in the full-sized image.

After all that, however, I decided that I would not provide the toolbar after all.  Oh well...At least I learned something more about how Coppermine works! :)

Instead of editing that core file, you shall copy the needed parts to your theme's theme.php file. Just for your information.

Hi Andre'.

I understand, at least conceptually.  Unfortunately, I do not yet know how to us my theme.php file to do what you suggest.  I'll work on it!

Thanx again!
