I am having a weird problem.

I am using 11.x Opera and IE 8. I have Java 6 installed and Browser Javascript is enabled.

I was using 1.4.x coppermine given with cPanel. It was working fine till yesterday. Today, when I clicked on New Album button in Album Manager, it doesn't do anything. The page remains as it is. The button presses down but nothing happens.

So, as a quick measure, i uninstalled 1.4.x version and instead today downloaded 1.5.x and installed it. The same problem happened with it also. I am able to update the config page, which I assume uses CSS/Javascript combo. But the New Album button is dead.

Please help. What do I do.

Please post a link to your gallery and a test user account (without admin privileges!) which is able to create albums.

I was able to create an album with the standard curve theme.

So your custom theme breaks that functionality. The error console reports 2 JS errors when I use your custom theme:

Wow, thanks so much!

I guess I can add all images, create albums and then changeover to the custom theme.

It's out of the line to ask for further help, but do you know what I can do to continue using my custom theme ? How can I recitify these errors, any idea ? Im not javascript savvy.

Yes. If you use the ?theme=curve parameter you can change the theme just for you, so your visitors will still see your custom theme.

Me neither, so I cannot help you any further without trial & error.
