So the other day after I uploaded a photo to the gallery of my fansite, I was going to upload more photos but upon doing so, I received the following error:

Critical error

There was an error while processing a database query.

While executing query 'SELECT COUNT(*) FROM cpg_comments WHERE pid = ' in include/functions.inc.php on line 2445 mySQL error: You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near '' at line 1

File: /home2/misswin/public_html/gallery/include/functions.inc.php - Line: 270

How can I fix this in order to get my gallery back to normal and continue uploading photos without losing any files?

Please post a link to your gallery and describe where that error message appears.

& just when you visit it, the message appears.

The link is miss-winstead.com/gallery & when you visit that area of the site is when the message appears.

The main homepage is fine though.

But nobody posts comments in the gallery in the first place so I don't think there's anything I'd need to uncheck.....  ???

Do it anyway. Please read the threads to get an idea what may cause that issue.

Site's all fixed!  :D

For the benefit of others who might run into the same problem, could you please tell us what you did to fix it. Please.
Running SMF 2.1.4  / Tinyportal 3.0.1, bridged with Coppermine 1.6.25, plus cpmfetch 2.0.0

The site owner was able to get in contact with someone who fixed the problem. I didn't ask for details though, sorry. However, site now has new problems, which I posted about here:  http://forum.coppermine-gallery.net/index.php/topic,73176.0.html.
