Start order when sorting in picture manager

The starting order when sorting photos in picture manager seems to be by pid. Can this instead be set to the default-order choosen in the config?

I am starting the tedious task of sorting lots of pictures. And the starting-point usually seems about the opposite of what I want I guess because pid is somewhat similar to date ascending.

This sounds like a good idea to me. I'd like to be able to choose the order.
