Install error

I am getting an install error when I try to install CPG. See below:

*The following errors were encountered and need to be corrected first:
*--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
*Admin username and password must only contain alphanumeric characters.

I am using alphanumeric characters for the password but it keeps giving me the above error.

Try something very simple like

admin

If this also doesn't work, maybe some files got corrupted during the upload. Try to replace all Coppermine core files on your server.
