Hi,
just a hint:

I selected "german formal (Sie)" and marked the flag "automatic language detection" .
In this case german users always get the "german informal (Du)" - set.

I checked it in several browsers (opera, ie, ff) and also cleared cookies several times.

If I unmark "automatic language detection" its ok.

As there are two database entries for 'de'-german coppermine always selects the first one.
If I find a work around I'll post it.

Delete/disable the informal language file and your German visitors will always get the formal language set.
