Dear Andres and CPG support,

I am running the latest CPG and SimpleMachinesForum 2.0.2 (SMF) on my website.  They were located in the following directories and correctly bridged:

CPG http://universeofmen.com/gallery/
SMF http://universeofmen.com/forum/

Recently, I installed a portal to make SMF my homepage and shifted it so it now resides at the top level of my domain.  Therefore, the new directories are as follows:

CPG http://universeofmen.com/gallery/
SMF http://universeofmen.com

As you can see, my SMF has been moved to the domain name for visitors to immediately view.  Since my CPG and SMF were bridged before, I am now getting an error message whenever I try to access my gallery (since CPG still want to point to the /forum/).

Fatal error: require_once() [function.require]: Failed opening required '../forum/Settings.php' (include_path='.:/usr/local/pear') in /universeofmen.com/public_html/gallery/bridge/smf20.inc.php on line 47

Can you advise on how I correct the bridging?  I've attached a screenshot of the error if it helps.  Thanks :)

P.S.  In hindsight, I perhaps should have asked this question BEFORE I moved my SMF forum when I could have accessed my Coppermine gallery, but alas ...

Running SMF 2.1.4  / Tinyportal 3.0.1, bridged with Coppermine 1.6.25, plus cpmfetch 2.0.0

Hi lurkalot,

Thanks for the references to the Coppermine documentation -- I had quickly read through it when I started having the 'bridge' problems, but I was typing in the wrong url (doh!  :o).  Instead of the correct bridgemgr.php, I was only typing in bridge.php

So I've corrected the bridging on 3 out of my 4 Coppermine galleries, and they're all working great.

On my fourth Coppermine gallery, what happens if I cannot type in the correct credentials?  Is there any other way to access the admin menu or disable the bridging?

Thanks,
Joel / pols1337

You can also modify the bridging values directly in the database with a tool like PHPMyAdmin.

You should have said so earlier!  I reinstalled the entire gallery  :o

It's okay -- thanks for your help, and I'll keep this in mind the next time.
