Hi everyone!
I have a problem with duplicating photos after uploading.
To add photos I use "Batch add files" then choose cathegory and then making a thumbnails.

After "Batch add files" I see in album some duplicate photos.

Don't know why everything it was.

Help me please!

I am sorry for my English! Hope you understand!

Please post a link to your gallery and some more detailed explanations. Does it happen always, regardless of the album, file and folder?

Please post a link to your gallery
and a test user (non-admin) account which is able to upload files.

Additionally, please post the debug output which you get as admin.

Does it also happen when you use the flash uploader or the single HTML upload form?

nixder

Αndré, I want to send you PM with account details but can't do it beucause it's locked for me.

Αndré

The PM system has been disabled because of frequent abuse. Please post the requested data here, a moderator will delete it on request.

It happens when I use flash uploader or the single HTML upload form no differents.

Admin account

username: Andre
password: [removed]

For example in this album I have 44 photos but in folder just 43

05.jpg dublicates for two
http://girlsaloud.tv/newgallery/thumbnails.php?album=106

To see how it was you can test.

Use "Batch add files" choose
"462" folder and choose "Perou" album and save for default.
"458" folder and choose "Robert Erdmann" album and save for default.
"464" folder and choose "Ultimo Spring/Summer Collection" album and save for default.

And you will see duplicate photos.

-> no dupes in any of the albums

Never post admin account data publicly! I asked you to post a regular user account, without any admin privileges. I changed the password and removed it from your post. However, you said it happens always, which I just disproved. So it's probably a client side issue. I used Firefox 10 to batch-add the files to the albums.

nixder

Αndré, thank you for the testing!

Now it happens sometimes. This album has two duplicate photos http://195.16.91.97/newgallery/thumbnails.php?album=250 (06.jpg) I don't know why it was. I had used FireFox 10, IE 10. How can I find a reason of the problem?

Αndré

First of all you should decide to access your gallery via IP or domain. As I have no access to IE10, you should batch-add some pictures with that browser and then check if it has created duplicates.

Usually Coppermine rejects dupes, but I'm currently not sure where exactly that will be done and thus if may be possible to get dupes when the browser sends duplicate requests.

nixder

Αndré, I have used gallery via domain only. Just for this topic I publicated IP for secure.

Me and second administrator have used FireFox 10, IE 10, Opera and have duplicates. I don't think that browser sends duplicate requests because it so different browsers.

Do SQL log help you to understand the problem?

Αndré

The SQL log might help. If we don't see duplicate INSERT statements, then there's something wrong with your database. If not, you have to investigate if/how it's reproducible that your gallery inserts some pictures more than once.

That means it also happens for those uploaders just sometimes?
