Hi, I am absolutely a beginner but installed Coppermine for my daughter to her site to showcase her art/pictures.  She hasn't made any changes (knows even less than I do) and asked me to update some things today.  When I went to log in to her site today, I get the following message (same as this thread topic) "You Are Currently Banned From Using This Site".

As far as I know I have installed any Coppermine updates whenever I received an email so I am not sure why this is saying that.  I found the "solution" to this problem here:
Empty the bans table using phpmyadmin  or Open the config table with PHPMyAdmin and increase the value for login_threshold.

I have no idea what they are talking about or how to go about using or accessing PHPAdmin
I don't have Sql or Php on my computer and not a clue as to the first thing to go about resolving it.
Is there a link someone can point me to that is fairly user friendly for a non programmer?

Thank you very much.

Okay so did some self education :) and went onto my webhost site (GoDaddy) and looked up how to access the PHPMyAdmin in the sites SQL database.  I can access it but once inside having no experience with SQL or PHP When I try doing a "query" about banned files it tells me my syntax is incorrect.  Is there any easy way to reset or delete this to resolve my problem?  I started reading the usermanual for PHP but seriously I am way in over my head.

Thanks again.

In PHPMyAdmin, locate the the banned table, click on the 'browse icon' and then on 'Empty' at the top right.

It is a mistake to think you can solve any major problems just with potatoes.
