Hi All

Sorry if this has been raised before but when i click the "batch add files" option it just throws up an "404 not found" error, i have check the URL in the configuration section so that it shows http://www.puerilis.co.uk/coppermine and i have checked the searchnew.php so that it exists on the site with file permissions of 644 and i have tried uploading the file again but i am still having issues, can anyone offer some assistance?

Kind regards

P

Hi Αndré

in the first image i have highlighted the "batch add files" and the URL at the bottom of the page then I can either single left click or right click "open in new window" the "batch add files" to get the error, the only difference you will see is that the 404 error page is a customised error page but it basically does the same job as a standard 404 error page.

If you want a login for the installation please let me know.

If the file really exists, check for if some redirection / rewrite rules affect that file. As that's a Wordpress error page, I assume it's a .htaccess file of Wordpress.

Yes the file exists.
I have wordpress installed into a sub directory of the site and its not intergrated with Coppermine so it should not have any affect on Coppermine but will check.

It seems you where correct, there was a .htaccess file in the root of the /public_html folder so i have removed that for now and the "batch add files" seems to be working.
