login issues

hello All,
I recently installed version 1.4.x on my personal webserver. Setup went fine... but on login screen I am getting a message like following...

"Warning your browser does not accept script's cookies"

After login I dont get admin menu, and  when I try to run versioncheck.php I get a message that I do not have permissions for this page.

I checked the db (after going through forum), and following are cookies related entries...

Not sure what is wrong here... can you guys help?

I just took the stable version as mentioned @ http://sourceforge.net/projects/coppermine/files/Coppermine/
If the latest version does not have this problem... I would luv to try that. But I will prefer stable version.

The Coppermine sourceforge has an issue.

Upgrading is mandatory for support.

Upgrade first and see if you still have an issue.
