When i login to coppermine admin area showing the following message

"Critical error :  There was an error while processing a database query."

So i enabled the debug mod through phpmyadmin and now its showing like below

QuoteWhile executing query 'SELECT a.aid, a.title, a.description, a.thumb, a.keyword, category, visibility, filepath, filename, url_prefix, pwidth, pheight, a.owner  FROM cpg15x_albums AS a  LEFT JOIN cpg15x_pictures AS p ON a.thumb=p.pid  WHERE a.category = 0   ORDER BY  LIMIT 0,1' in index.php on line 795

mySQL error: You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near 'LIMIT 0,1' at line 1

My gallery is bridged to Vbulletin board

iam using   Coppermine version: 1.5.20

How to fix this error ?

Did you run update.php after the upgrade to cpg1.5.20 (which isn't the latest release by the way)?

sibichan

Yes, already run the update.php and it was success.

But when i click the " check your file versions link", it showing like the screenshot.

My config area showing - Gallery Configuration - Coppermine Photo Gallery 1.5.20 (stable)

Seems  1.5.20 version is old version

If i upgraded to latest version, will it be fixed ?

Please provide the 1.5.20 to latest version files download link with upgrade instructions.

Gallery is already bridged with phpbb.

Is there any problem if i upgrade the gallery to latest version ?

------------------

How to disable the phpbb bridging ?

Not able to login to Bridge Manager

"You supplied the wrong credentials. You will have to supply the admin account data of the standalone version (usually the account you set up during Coppermine install). "

But i can login with same details in coppermine and phpbb admin area.

Hello forum admin, please reply for the following questions

(1)If i upgrade the gallery 1.5.20 to 1.5.22 , will it be fixed ?

(2)Disabled the phpbb bridge through php myadmin - bridge_enable = 0

But now i can't login to gallery admin - Login failed. Try again.

No, upgrading will probably not fix it. Give it a try and see. And please do not shout will all the bold lettering.

As for your second question you will need the admin logon that you had when you first created your gallery. When in bridged mode the third party app (phpbb in your case" is doing the authentication. The gallery admin user still exists and that password would not be changed no matter how many times you change the admin password in your bridged environment.

If you do not have that original password then you can manually edit the database to disable bridging or you can recover your lost admin password using phpmyadmin. Details of both can be found b searching these forums.
It is a mistake to think you can solve any major problems just with potatoes.

I wasn't able to find the failing query in index.php in cpg1.5.20. Actually, the line 795 is empty. So either the file got corrupted during upload or you edited it deliberately. So the upgrade to cpg1.5.22 may fix your issue. However, you need to upgrade anyway, as there's not support for outdated galleries.

Where i can download the 1.5.20 to 1.5.22 upgrade files ?

Also provide the upgrade instructions.

Is there any problem with phpbb bridging,  if i upgrade the copermine gallery ?

You can find the latest version link in the announcement thread http://forum.coppermine-gallery.net/index.php/topic,75858.0.html
There's also a link to the upgrade docs.

This line 795 exists in CPG 1.5.22 and as line 785/789 in CPG 1.5.20 so update to CPG 1.5.22 is done

Then obviously the database hasn't been upgraded successfully.

screenshot says files are older than 8530 ie ftp did a partial upload so upload the files again
After upload run update.php to update the databse

sibichan

Coppermine upgraded successfully.

But  "Multiple files - Flash-driven (recommended)" is not working.

Only woking "simple - one file at a time"

when i select the Multiple files uploader, showing the following error.

"Selected album does not exist or you don't have permission to upload in this album"

I have created a test user acount and and created test album.

Here it is working Multiple files option.

But when i login as admin, i can't upload multiple files
