What is the easy way to upload images? Im using theme CURVE cp.1.5

This is what I usually do..
1. Create album in category  FILES-> ALBUM-> NEW ALBUM
2. Upload file to the new album UPLOAD FILE -> SELECT ALBUM ->Browse files to upload
3. Now this is my problem.. I have over 1000 albums.. Sometimes it takes me 20 minutes to find newly created album to upload files.. and this is annoying.

I've used coppermine for 2 years, Am i missing something? i get so frustrated in the past few weeks and havent upload new images because im so sick of it. Plz helpp

Also, I just tried batch-add upload.. but still.. there's an option "SELECT ALBUM", in my case i have to pick 1 out of 1000 albums. Is there another way?

Do you all have to go through this? thanks

Having a big list of albums does make life harder scrolling through them all. It is all down to the way you organise them. If you categorise them it makes life a lot easier but maybe for a future release we could improve the interface.

You could also try one of the other uploader's available such as the HTML5 uploader - http://forum.coppermine-gallery.net/index.php/topic,75927.0.html

It is a mistake to think you can solve any major problems just with potatoes.

Have a closer look at the album manager. Next to each album is a small icon which redirects you directly to the upload form, with the corresponding album pre-selected.

The same works, when you're viewing the thumbnail page of an album (e.g. thumbnails.php?album=123) and then hit the "Upload" button.
