I am trying to put a custom image on the top header section (centred) using the "curve" theme.

The image is not centred but to the left, the menu buttons/icons are boxed up to the right. So how do I centre the image? and if possible place the menu buttons/icons underneath the image (centred and in one line)?

Can we have a link please?

There are a number of ways to centre an image.
It is a mistake to think you can solve any major problems just with potatoes.

Please extract the attached zip file and copy template.html to your theme folder (themes/curve).

Thank you.

If I wanted to use a larger image size, do I have to edit the template.html or any other files? to prevent the image from stretching.

Αndré

You just have to edit template.html. Actually you can also remove the width and height attributes. They're just needed to help the browser rendering the website while the image hasn't been loaded yet.

Sorry to be a pain.
But there is just one other slight problem, is there a way of reducing the gap below the header, shown with red arrows?

Αndré

Please search our board, as that has already been asked and answered.

OK sorted the gap problem out.
Is there a way to centre the top menu (not to the left)?  I have done a search and the only thing I could find is to use the curve centred theme, which I want to avoid if possible because the rest of the header is now ok..

As far as I recall it wasn't particularly easy to center it.
You have two good options:
Download the centered theme and apply your edits or
Download the centered theme and apply its menu edits to your theme.
