Change multiple album and category permissions at the same time

Apparently  each album and or Category has permissions.  My question is ... Can you tick each category/Album and set the same permissions on all at the same time or am I doomed to do each one a single time? I guess i have about 15 categories . 

I managed to get the comments working.  Thanks.  But I made a regular user and after testing upload and clicking the continue button it said my test user does not have permission to do this...blah blah  but it did upload the three pics.

Unfortunately there's no interface to do that. The only way is to change the values directly in your MySQL database with a tool like phpMyAdmin and an appropriate SQL query.

As time consuming as it was I just did each one at a time.  Thanks for your time and support .

Thanks for bringing it to our attention. Maybe for a future release we can look at either the facility to set this option on a category level or maybe add a config setting to decide what the default behaviour should be.
