Adding custom header to front page of gallery

Can anyone tell me how to add a custom JPG header to the home page of my gallery?
I have changed the titile in the coppermine settings, but would like to use my own title image.

A link to your site will help so we can see what theme youy are using. Also, if you attach your image to your next post we can advise better on any code adjustments.

Open template.html with notepad and use notepad find option Edit - Find to look for the image_name.jpg and replace with your_image_name.jpg and change even the path if you want it to put the image in a diffrent folder.Worpad is better because notepad sometimes shows the code with no order and is impossible to read and edit like this.

To find the image name right click in firefox on the image - click View Image or View Background Image.This way you will see the image name and even the path (the folder where the image is). OR you can look in your theme folders to find it and copy the image name.

If is not in template.html then look in all the theme files like theme.php or your_theme_style.css

If you find somthing like this <img src="themes/your_the_name/images/imagename.png" border="0" width="260" height="60" alt="" /> make sure to change even image_name.png in your_image_name.jpg and width and height with the width and height of your image.

If is in your_theme_style.ccs it will look like that background-image: url(images/image_name.png);

The image could be .png,.jpg,.jpeg or .gif. Make sure to change to .jpg.
