Hi there,

im trying to install coppermine.

I am using the Apache 2.4.12 Win32, the newest cpg, PHP 5.2.13, and mySQL 5.1.72 Community

After starting  the install i get the message on step 1:
QuoteERROR
The following errors were encountered and need to be corrected first:
The script could not determine the version of MySQL your server is using. Be sure it is at least version 3.23.23

On step 7 i get the message:
QuoteERROR
The following errors were encountered and need to be corrected first:
PHP does not have MySQL support enabled.

If you need more input just ask ill provide it!

Thanks in advance!

Please ask your host as it appears your server setup is amiss.
It is a mistake to think you can solve any major problems just with potatoes.

Hi,

I am the host.
It is all installed on one Server.

Unfortunately there is probably nota lot we can do to help you with your servers configuration as that appears to be the issue. Try installing other PHP scripts such as Wordpress and Joomla and see if you get similar problems.
