Can't connect to database.

Ok i installed cpg just fine, but when I go to login I get this error:

Coppermine critical error:
Unable to connect to database !

MySQL said: Lost connection to MySQL server during query

Anyone there that can help me ?

Need a little more info: your host, server os, php version, mysql version, does this happen constantly.  Beta versions of mysql have been known to cause this type of error.
