Hide albums and archive number on main category

Hello! I want to hide the albums and archives number on my gallery. Here you can see a screenshot:

In themes/your_theme_name_folder/theme.php

PASTE function $template_cat_list (I edited the function to remove albums and archive number) right before the ?> sign at the last line.
Note: make sure function $template_cat_list is not already in your theme.php.

If you would like to have the Categories in two columns PASTE this code.
Note: make sure function $template_cat_list and function theme_display_cat_list is not already in your theme.php.
Config - Album list view - Show first level album thumbnails in categories won't work anymore but I see you're not using it anyway.
