I updated php to 7.0 and my gallery got all messed up. I found the cpg_installer_stub.php and I was able to make it work but now I get the error at the bottom when I try to log into the control panel. Can someone please tell me what I need to do in order to fix this error. Thank you in advance.

The debug message that I get is the following:
Notice: Undefined index: dbtype in /data/23/2/139/50/2791213/user/3070996/htdocs/ricsil/include/init.inc.php on line 165

Error that I get when I try to log into control panel:
Critical error
There was an error while processing a database query

It is likely that you have a plugin that is incompatible with CPG 1.6.x
Rename the plugins folder to see if you can then login. If so, create a new plugins folder and move plugins to it, one at a time, logging out and in, until you find the one causing the problem.
Replace your plugins with CPG 1.6.x compatible ones: https://forum.coppermine-gallery.net/index.php/board,143.0.html

I did as you told me and it did not work. Since I cannot log into the account, how can I turnn debug mode on. is there a file that I can modify? I do have access to the files through FTP. Thank you in advance.

You hadn't completed the upgrade. I was able to complete it for you.

Thank you so much for doing that for me. Was my site in danger because I had not completed the upgrade?
