Turn off owner name & ip address on search page. Default everything else on.

Is there a way to turn off the option of searching by either "owner name" or "ip address" from the search page?  Since the gallery I'm using is one that only I will be adding photos I'm not sure these fields are needed to be searchable.

Also, is there a way that by default all of the fields left, including the 4 custom fields, are all checked to be searched so they don't have to be manually checked every time?  I did find a previous thread that answered how to accomplish adding the "filename" field using checked="checked" but am not sure if that's possible for the 4 custom fields.
