A user is getting this error message when she tries uploading a picture or pictures. I logged on through her account and get the same error message.

I have no other problems uploading on different albums.

Quoteapparently your edit folder inside the albums folder has been lost (this is a known issue on some webhosts and will be fixed with cpg1.3.1, which is due to be released soon as a bugfix). For now, just create a folder named "edit" within your albums folder (using your ftp software) and CHMOD it to 777 or 755 (depending on your config, similarly to the albums folder).

I read this in another post. I think this fixed the problem. I'm not seeing that error message anymore. I already had updated to 1.3.1 and had to create the edit folder in Albums folder, then chmod to 777 though.

I have a similar problem.  When I try to upload a pic it says "error" there are no folders that you are allowed to upload to.  I tried the fix above, but it did not work.
Any suggestions,
thanks,

I tried the fix mentioned earlier, but it did not work. I placed an edit folder within the albums folder and changed the settings.  I went into groups and set the access paramaters.  I could not find anywhere else to set album permissions.
Any advice would be appreciated.
thanks
