'gallery_description' in different languages

The Gallery Description I am referring to is set in config.php under 'General Settings'.  (I am not talking about gallery descriptions under different categories, I found how to do that on this board.)

I was wondering if there is a way to set it, for example, from my language files.   That is, depending on the language used, 'gallery_description' will be defined in that particular language.

not possible at the moment - has been requested before. There's a mod for an outdated version of coppermine that does what you're looking for, and there's a discussion on this issue on the feature requests board - please look up those threads.

Well, thanks anyway.  That's not that big of a deal issue.  But, nonetheless, gallery_description is about the only thing that I haven't gotten to display according to the language.  So, it would have been nice...
