i have a problem with this seccition, in this comment

This function allows you to add a batch of file that your have uploaded to your server by FTP.

Select the directory where you have uploaded your files

i don't know where i have to put the FTP path or directory.

i don's speak english very well, i hope you teach me with details

tanks ;)

You should use your ftp program to create new folders in the 'albums' folder.  Do not put them in the 'userpics' or 'edit' folder.
CHMOD them the same as the albums folder (755 or 777).

Now upload your pics into these folders.  Batch add will now see these folders and pics.
It has been a long time now since I did my little bit here, and have done no coding or any other such stuff since. I'm back to being a noob here

Kapitan_Pirula

thank you for your help. yesterday i read the manual of the program and i can uplad the files.  ;) ;)

if you post a question on a board and find the answer by yourself, it'd be a nice gesture towards the supporters on the board to resolve your own question by replying to it with a message like "I was able to solve this problem on my own. No need to further look into it.".

Hi,

this may be a double posting as I cannot find my post anywhere.

I upgraded to version 1.3 today and I have the same problem where no 'album' folders show at all when I want to 'batch add files'.
In version 1.2 this worked fine. Permissions are set to 755 for all albums, I also set them to 777 but it makes no difference.

Here is the Debug Info file:

Thanks, I eventually worked it out myself that the directory structure has to be like this:

/gallery.xyz.com/albums

and then in /albums

you need these folders:

- edit
- userpics
- folder name of your choice, e.g. 'august2004' (batch add files will see this folder if permissions are set right!)

Simple if explained simply!
