Hello,

I would like to have an album dedicated only for the users photos upload.

I also want to have it "hidden" completely from the Album list.

Last but not least, be notified with eMail when someone load something into it

Could you tell me how to configure things ?

Thanks
Eugène

Create an album and in permissions change to "members of the admin group only" or "me only"...

Set visitors can upload pictures to yes and you are set.

This means that everyone can upload pics...anonymous too..if you don't wont that, you can restrict their rights under " groups"

I don't know how to set it up to send you an email but u can use the admin approval feature under "groups"

Sorry but I do not see where I have to go to change the permissions ?

In which module is this ? If it's in Album manfer, I see ony New, Delete and Apply Modifications, but nothing else

You will find it in the album list=>properties...If you don't see the properties button then change from user to admin mode also in the menus.

Below the topic "Permission for the Album", I have only 3 choices :

1) Visitor can upload pictures
2) Visitor can post comments
3) Visitor can rate pictures

It looks like one I'm lookink for is missing !?

when logged in as admin, click "group" settings. The permissions won't turn up in album properties unless you changed group permissions.
Look, why don't you take a look at the manual, it's all in there?

Thanks for your help. My problem is solved but it was not so evident to see the link between these 2 fields.
